This policy covers only the maingate.de website. Data processing within the MainGate Gate Management System itself is governed separately, by agreement between MainGate and the respective customer organization.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted with IONOS. Every time the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects technical access data ("server log files"), e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). Log files are stored for a limited period for security reasons and then automatically deleted.
3. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, the data you provide (including your email address and the content of your message) is processed and stored solely to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
4. Cookies and Google Analytics
With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to statistically evaluate visitor behaviour (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent). When you visit the site, a banner asks whether you agree. Without your consent, no analytics cookie is set and no connection to Google Analytics is established.
According to the provider, Google Analytics 4 does not collect or store full IP addresses. The data processed (e.g. device type, approximate location at city/region level, pages visited, time spent) may also be processed on servers outside the EU; Google has committed to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for this purpose (Art. 46 GDPR). 5. Fonts
This website loads fonts locally, directly from our own server. No connection is made to third-party providers such as Google Fonts, so no related data is transferred to third parties.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
